WORCESTER MALE VOICE CHOIR

The Jazz Club has been at the centre of the Hall`s social scene for over 25 years, with more than

250 gigs featuring top class national and international bands, and is firmly established on the UK

jazz scene. Dates for this period are :

All gigs start at 6.30 pm. with the traditional Little Witley Ploughman`s Supper, included in the

Shindig is the County`s Rural Touring Scheme, offering the opportunity for Village Halls such as

ours to present high quality performances by professional performers at extremely attractive

prices, due to generous subsidies from the Arts Council and the District and County Councils.

 CARATINGA : THE MUSIC OF BRAZIL

 Brazil`s greatest gift to the world - apart from fantastic footballers and unbelievable beaches -

has to be the Samba, and its classical songs, together with the great tunes of its instrumental

twin style, Choro, form a tradition of accoustic music stretching back more than a century.

 Caratinga`s stunning line-up of virtuoso accoustic musicians brings the irresistable rhythms

and beautiful melodies of this wonderful tradition to life in an evening of unforgettable accoustic

music and song.

 Doors open at 7 pm. for supper at 7.30, followed by the performance at 8.30.

Tickets are £10 each, including supper (£8 for under-16`s), and are available from Steve or Jean

 VILLAGE SOCIAL CLUB

 The Village Social Club meets every Thursday from 9 pm. The Club is open to all who live in or

near the village. This is the occasion to meet and chat with friends and acquaintances, and catch

up with all the local gossip.. Drinks are available from the bar at Happy Hour prices all evening!

At some point during this period (weather permitting) we shall transfer to summer mode, with DIY

barbecues on the terrace, from the slightly earlier time of 8pm.

 The bar is also open at lunchtime on Sundays April 25th., May 23rd. and June 27th. to

coincide with meetings of the Salvo Gun Club which uses the Hall`s facilities for its monthly Clay

Pigeon Shoots.
