The Parish Council comprises 7 elected councillors. At the annual meeting of the Council in May the councillors elect their Chairman for the year.

The Council employs the services of the Clerk who is the Responsible Financial Officer for the Council.

The Council holds statutory meetings six times a year. Additional meetings are called as required throughout the year to address urgent matters and to consider some planning applications.

All parishioners are welcome to attend any meetings of the Council and their participation is actively encouraged.

Each of the councillors undertakes specific specialised roles.  Parishioners are encouraged to bring their observations, suggestions and aspirations to the notice of any councillor.

Without your input the Council can only guess how YOU would like Little Witley village to develop.  Please keep up to date with the ongoing development of our Parish Plan.  With an input from every parishioner this will form the business plan for the Parish Council to enable us to shape YOUR community to suit YOU.
